Our Mission Statement Our mandate is to provide expertise in medicine, timely service and up-to-date resources to referring physicians and patients.
We do this by:
Reviewing and implementing new Policy and Practice standards and
statements of the Canadian Pediatric Society, the American Academy of
Pediatrics and other relevant societies, on a weekly basis.
Consulting current databases and medical resources online in the examination room with our patients.
Maintaining on-line access to medical records at pediatric hospitals provincially through the Child Health Network.
Providing consultation reports via fax, email or post, depending on the preference of the referring physician.
Expanding in-office equipment and services to include laboratory collection, oximetry, stadiometry, and others
Teaching and hosting pediatric residents and medical students for core rotations through the Faculty of Medicine at Queen’s.
